I am so very sorry for the loss of Cindy to all the people who loved her. I worked with Cindy for several years. Students loved her and she was a great teacher. Things I remember about Cindy are her burnt popcorn, her great always smiling face, her bikini picture with O.J., and our recycling efforts for the school. She was loved by parent, students and peers alike. She will be missed and she made difference in people’s lives. Jeremy and Ashley, I know you are going to miss that sweet mom of yours. Love to you both and your families. Ms. Isenberg

I was lucky enough to have her two years in a row, a homeroom teacher the second year when I was in the 7th grade. She was one of my favorites I ever had. The world is a better place because of the influence she had on so many young minds. Thank you.

How lucky was I to meet Cindy and the rest of the “Garner Girls” when I was five years old. We grew up across the street from each other. Dearing Rd. was such a special place. I was also fortunate enough to stay friends with Cindy all these years. I will miss her beautiful face and the special friendship that I cherished. My 91 year old Dad always said (and told me again today), “Cindy always was the prettiest of the Garner Girls”. Rest In Peace my sweet friend Cindy, I will miss you terribly! Give Marvin, Hazel and Ricky a hug from me.

A truly gracious lady who I had the joy of meeting numerous times. Aloeays beautiful and shinning with her big smile. Strong enough to handle warring clans. The UT and Bama groups that never clashed because of her strong personality. Steve always beaming with pride when talking about his beautiful wife at High School Ball Games. She truly was special to be a mother to her blended family. Sore with the Angels Cindy .

I had Mrs. Stanfill(Cooke) in middle school and high school. She was an awesome teacher and an awesome person to know. She was always willing to help in Math no matter what your struggles were, and believe me, mine were real, I hated Math, she taught me how to appreciate it and not hate it. I didn’t know she was sick until I saw her son’s FB post. Know that I am praying for you guys!!!

Mrs. Stanfill taught with my mother when I was young. I remember her getting out of school and going to visit my “pinky-buddy” in her classroom in hopes of getting a jolly rancher. My heart breaks for her family. I am thankful for the fond memories I have of her. Love and prayers for Jeremy and Ashley.

What a sweet fun lady she was! My son, Brent was at Beech with Jeremy and Cindy loved those boys. She was one of Brent’s most favorite teachers. She loved all her students and it was clear they loved her back. I would love to be there today to hug Jeremy and Ashley, but please know that Brent and I have the family in our thoughts and prayers during this season of grieving. May precious memories of your sweet Mom comfort you in the days and weeks ahead and may you feel so many prayers being lifted for you.
