Joyce, my love and prayers to you and the entire family. I remember you and Floyd so vividly when you were at our church and have always loved you, especially. He was a good man, and I know you realize that even more than those of us who were privileged to be part of your circle of friendship. Blessings on you and yours, and my prayers will follow you. With much love, Mary Lee Fielder

    Joyce,
My brother and I rented one side of a duplex at 2106 18th Ave. South from Floyd in 1955-56. At that time, he played guitar for George Morgan. He invited me to his place when the band practiced. I was 14 years old, he taught me guitar and was very generous with his time and talent. A very nice man. My sympathy to you and your family.

Floyd had a magnetic personality. When he came to our Polio Support Group meetings he was always so dapper. The whole group always enjoyed seeing Floyd. He never let polio slow him down, nor did he use it as an excuse. We’ll remember his smile and and sense of humor. Nickie Lancaster, RN, Easter Seals of TN Polio Heroes of TN Support Group.

    Joyce,
You and Floyd welcomed me and my nephew one afternoon about four years ago, to your home on Caudill Drive, while we were gazing at the Cash family property across the street. Your kindness was so appreciated by Rob and myself. You are a lovely woman and Floyd was a most gracious man. You both were so generous with your time and splendid company. I am very sorry for your loss of Floyd. I will pray for your comfort and my family wishes you and your fine family well.

    Most sincerely,
    Tom Sarsfield
