He was my first boss at Genesco Mechanized Accounting in 1969. Great leader and patient teacher. He had a great sense of humor. Dry wit we call it in the south. He attended my retirement celebration last Sept
Hope to see his family and friends Wednesday evening. Prayers for family. He loved his children and grandchildren. Spoke of them often.

As I know there are no words that can help or Assuage the sorrow at this time, a few thoughts as I reflect on the impact of Mr. Stratton who I’ve known since I was a kid.

I’ve known and loved Mr. and Mrs Stratton since I can remember, as my best friend Steve’s parents. I loved them and their family very much. I feel fortunate to have come to know Mr. Stratton, and though I am anything but a Yankee’s fan, did enjoy talking baseball with him, can’t say I’m not a Cats fan either but that came with Steve and Mr. Stratton as well, and I always admire their passion.

A great father, role model, and Christian man. I deeply morn his passing and my heartfelt sympathies go out to the entire family and their many friends. I will join in the morning of such a huge loss, but I will also, celebrate the great life of this man and all the respect I had for him as a great man and influence on me and so many others.

May God bless and keep the Stratton family in this time.
