Ron touched Ellen and my life in so many ways. Ron served as principle of the school that my father-in-law taught. I knew Ron personally as my Bible school teacher and a dear friend. Alan may you feel the piece of God embrace you during this time of remembrance and the assurance that he’s now at the place he was created to live forever. He’s actually getting to see and talk to the God of all creation and the Savior of our souls. What a BLESSING!

Mr. Pounders was my teacher in the six grade at Amqui elementary school. The one thing that I appreciated about him was he helped me to find more confidence in myself. He was a good man and a great teacher and I know that he will be sorely missed by so many people. See you in heaven Mr. Ponders.

It is with a sad heart that we bid farewell to a dear classmate and friend. Ronnie was one of the most liked members of our class. We proudly called him “our Liberace”. If Ronnie entered a Talent Contest, he was bound to win. His talents exceeded everyone. In 9th grade he and one other person were the only member, of class, that could solve a math problem and while visiting Wall Street on Sr. trip he was the only one that could answer a question about the stock market. His laughter and smile will be long remembered by all who knew him. To his family, may the God of all comfort bring you peace as friends lend their support. His life on earth is over but it is just beginning and one day there will be no farewells. I Thes. 4:13-18

Many members of the CVHS Class of 1959 will be remembering Ronnie in their own special way. Many will take the hour to pray, reflect and shed a few tears of farewell. Ronnie was a loving member of our class. We were so happy to see him at our 50th reunion. We share so many happy memories of our time together. Ronnie was selected as the “Friendliest Boy” of our class and still remains so. To his family, we share your loss and we circle you with linked arms as you bid your dad adieu. Our heavenly Father will wipe away all tears as joy come tomorrow as the wonderful memories come to mind.
