Who We Are

Hendersonville Memory Gardens and Funeral Home was opened in 2003.

We are proud to have served over 2,000 families throughout Sumner County.

After purchasing the cemetery (formerly Woodlawn East) from SCI in 2002, the Harpeth Family built a new maintenance shop, paved the cemetery drive, and improved the care of the cemetery by hiring a full time maintenance crew. After the gardens and grounds had undergone significant improvement and extensive landscaping, we began construction of the new funeral home.

Since 2002 we have had a large chapel mausoleum. The community and families here in Hendersonville have always appreciated this option for their loved one. Due to demand the decision was made to add on to the current mausoleum. There are now 250 mausoleum crypts that are indoors plus many feature glass fronts for families choosing cremation. This allows for a special way to decorate their loved ones niche. In addition there are now new granite niches available.

Our visitation rooms are contemporarily decorated and well-lit. Each room has a 32-inch television and DVD player that allows for continuous playback of Video Tributes. Each room can also be closed off to the public, allowing for as much private time as is needed.

Our non-denominational chapel seats 250 people and is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system. The choir loft contains an advanced keyboard and microphone which are both built into the sound system. A plasma television is mounted at the front of the chapel and allows for inclusion of the Video Tribute during the Funeral Service.

The lounge at our Hendersonville location was designed with our families in mind. It includes a vending machine, utensils for dining purposes, a full service coffee machine, refrigerator and microwave. The lounge comfortably seats 24 people, has a covered patio which looks over our beautiful memory gardens, and is adjacent to the lounge, seating an additional 20 people.
