Our sister was one in a million. Very loving, caring and giving person. She would always put others first before herself.  She had a heart of gold.  She was a wonderful sister, aunt and great aunt.  A very strong believer and had faith in Jesus Christ our savior.  She always thought about others even her doctors and nurses.  She loved to cook and bake and a very good one.  She always spoiled the kids being a Santa Clause with gifts and lots and lots of love.  She will be greatly missed by each and everyone.  She loved all of us, brothers and sisters and took excellent care of us, especially Cheryl.  There is a huge void in our lives and she is irreplaceable.

She is survived by her brothers: Edwin Massey and Mervyn Massey (wife Diane Massey)

sisters: Marion Forkum, Sybil Massey and Cheryl Massey

One of my best friends in 4th and 5th grades while I lived in Hendersonville. Very thankful to read that she was a strong believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I met Beatrice (and Cheryl) when we were in 2nd grade together. She was always quiet, polite & kind, a gorgeous smile, and that long dark hair! Praying for the family and friends in their time of grief, but knowing how blessed their lives must have been because of her…

We lived across the street from the Masseys as children. Beatrice often babysat for us. She was a beautiful person with a beautiful heart. She will be missed by everyone who had the good fortune to come in contact with her. Prayers going up for her family.

I’ve known Beatrice & Cheryl since 7th grade at Knox Doss Junior High. We were immediate friends and were always laughing in and out of classes. Someone on here mentioned Beatrice’s long, gorgeous hair. In gym class, she would sit on a bench & say, “Geneva, braid my hair!” and 5 days a week, I braided her hair to keep it out of the way during activities. She was gentle, generous, funny, smart, and a fantastic friend! We lost touch over a few years, but managed to be reunited over Facebook. It’s been an honor to be her friend for all these years and I will miss her immensely! Rest in peace, my sweet friend!

I am so sorry to hear this. I knew Beatrice in middle school. I haven’t seen her in years but I always remember her as one of the sweetest people I knew. May God bless your family and prayers for this family!
