I am blessed to have known your mother, Janice. Her smile comes to mind and makes me smile every time I hear her name. I am praying for you and the children at this time. Thank God heaven is a reality because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ! We will see her again!

We are so sorry for your loss. You will be in our thoughts and mentioned in our prayers, especially on Saturday. Myron is already obligated to preach this weekend and we won’t be able to attend. Bernice was a woman with a rich and full personality who contributed much to this world of ours. May your memories of her and the anticipation of seeing her again comfort you during this sadness.

Bernice and I were neighbors and friends for over 20 years. She called me her little sister. After John passed away, we went out to eat together quite a bit – she always wanted to go to Cheddar’s – and when our electricity would go out, we’d get together so neither of us were alone. She would come over and we’d eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches by candlelight. She was a very special lady, and I’m so sorry for your loss.
