Nancy, Phillip and Lynn. My sympathy. So sad for all of you. The death of a child is very traumatic grief Hopefully you will be able to talk with a grief consular if this will help you to understand. Remember everyone’s grief is unique and grief takes as long as it takes.

A genuine young man with a genuine smile. Although our acquaintance was brief, Daniel made a favorable and lasting impression. It is my prayer that the Lord will grant all family and friends comfort and peace over the next few days and the years to come. Be Blessed. Stay Blessed.

Danny was an amazing cousin, friend, mentor and guy. He cared about all of his cousins and those around him. His sense of humor was incomparable and I will never forget our times together in Orlando, Nashville, Ohio tubing, camping, visiting with all the cousins. Each holiday was made brighter when we heard Danny and Joey were coming. There are no words. You’ll always be my September Birthday buddy. I won’t forget our GMO discussions or your tuba playing. You mean the world to the family. I am thinking of you aunt Nancy, uncle Phil, and Joey. With love, Kelsi

Daniel was a rising star in our organization, and was a complete joy to work with. I feel truly blessed with the amount of time I was able to spend with him over the past year. He was a Colleague, Teacher, Mentee, and most importantly a Friend. Daniel was always first to raise his hand when needed, and always outperformed the expectations set upon him. Anyone who was lucky enough to travel with Daniel no doubt has a story that turns a memory into a lasting smile, from running around the yard with bright orange vest complete with aviator glasses, to asking for flatware in a rural Mississippi Subway, to a golf game in the works; Daniel was truly “Crushing It” in enjoying life.
Daniel will always be fondly remembered and sorely missed. Rest in Peace my Friend.

Someone reached out to me and reminded me of their first experience meeting Danny. We were on a camping trip and Danny went out of his way to share his French press coffee with that person every single day on the camping trip. While I’m family, that person was not. Danny still treated them as family the first time he met them. I felt that story, albeit short, was a great example of the type of person he was.

Daniel- or Danny as we knew him- was an incredible human being to be around. As Kelsi mentioned earlier on this page, our family holidays were always made extra special when we were lucky enough to have the Danny around. We have a large family. Even still, when discussing upcoming family events one detail was always highlighted when applicable: “Danny is going to be there!”. We knew how lucky we were to have a person like Danny around us. We’ll never forget that moving forward.

I know this is long but I just wanted to get at least something off my chest. I don’t know what to say.

To my aunt Nancy, uncle Phil, and cousin Joey, I love you guys and you’re all on my mind.

    Love, Owen

    Phil, Nancy and Joey, Danny
You are a family and will always be a family. I had a chance to enjoy all of you. It is sad right now, but there is hope and love and healing. But Danny will always be yours. I remember a song on a album that Phil used to play a lot and the song was called”More than ever” and one verse I can not get out of my mind is this one
    More than ever
    I’ll wait for you there
    More than ever
I will need you to care
    And I’ll never
    Need more than a prayer
    To be near you
    To be near you.

I really thing the world of all of you, your a wonderful family. For now Danny I will say see you one day…
