Always liked working Eddie’s spot shows on Sundays he was a fair man and a nice guy. Never forget him announcing to the boys if heels and babyfaces were caught riding together he would pull us over on the side of the road and fire us. Great character and tremendous respect for the business. We will miss you at Scott’s reunion’s! Blessings.

I had the privilege of talking with Eddie one night in 1991 at the old Pipkin building in Memphis at the fairgrounds one Monday night during the show. He never did make me feel as though I was bothering him or interfering with anything. We spoke for about five minutes as he was collecting entrance fees at the front door that night. Eddie was a good man and he will be missed by many of us. God Bless all of the family members and those that suffered a loss. But Heaven gained a good man. Show them how it’s done Eddie!
