Elaine Clift Anderson was born in Diana, TN on June 26, 1937 and passed away April 15, 2016. Preceding her in death was her beloved maternal grandmother, Wilma Emerson. Although she was in her early 20’s when she lost her grandmother. She remembered her love and compassion throughout her young life and tried to live by the high morals and standards her grandmother taught her the rest of her life. Also preceding her in death were her parents and husband.
Survived by a loving and devoted daughter, Jackie (Jim) and their two dogs and two cats, and her faithful and loving four-legged companions, Pepper and Emma.

It has been such a blessing with Moma Elaine in our lives. Because of her infectious smile, the twinkling in her eyes, the way she always spoke with such kindness and caring, made her such a wonderful blessing to everyone she knew and met. With her quick wit she could always make you laugh and smile. We will miss her presence but will forever remember and cherish her love and the beautiful memories that she has left with us. melody&danny

I was one of her people when she worked at NEC, Inc. From my very first day there until I heard she had retired (while I was on vacation) she remained one of the truly kindest people I have ever know. I know she was special to me and I always suspected she was just as special to most other employees she came to know. She seemed to have an inherent sense of what was right and knew how to explain that to you so you understood. I remember her helping me with ‘work’ long after both of us lost the connection from NEC, Inc. She really was a wonderful person. I will miss her.

My neighbor of 50 years, Elaine, was a wonderful friend to me and my entire family. She was like a second mother to my youngest daughter Melody who is still today close friends with her daughter Jackie. I have so many good memories of having her next door. Her dogs that she loved dearly, Woofie, Pepper and Emma would always run to the fence to bark at me when I’d come home and when I hollered it was just me, they would be okay. I miss my dear friend, her companions and just knowing she was there with her beautiful smile and laughter. I will always keep her in my heart and memories.

My deepest condolences to the family. My connection with Elaine was through NEC. She was so pleasant and such a beautiful person. May she rest peacefully.
