    Dear Family of Freda Ledbetter:
It is with great sadness that we heard of our Aunt Freda’s home going. She left me with so many fond memories!! She would invite my cousin, Sara, and me to spend the night with them when our families were together in Nashville. I so love the memory of sitting on her kitchen floor and whispering with my cousin about “all those fancy ladies” in her bridge club gathering!!!
She had a great zest for living that was contagious!! I greatly admired this beautiful lady and will miss just knowing she was still there and that I could pick up the phone and talk to her.
I grieve with all of you. I am comforted in knowing that I will see her again someday.
Sending love and prayers, her neice on Uncle Robert’s side of family, Norma Simmons Davis

Freda was a great neighbor and friend. She and I enjoyed making sausage balls, banana pudding, and picking blackberries together. She was very witty and as sharp as a tack. Freda was the driving force behind our neighborhood luncheons. Freda loved her family and neighbors. I will miss her presence here but I am sure she is rejoicing with loved ones who have already gone on before.💐💐

Freda used to call me out of the blue and ask if I was doing alright; she constantly worried about everyone that lived near her. We have been here for nearly 24 years and are proud to call ourselves neighbors of both and Freda. She is back with Bob now and doesn’t have to worry any longer; now we are the ones in trouble since we have one less great person to worry about us. Rest in peace Freda.

Freda was our neighbor and watcher of our home when wr traveled. We both LOVED the wildlife that occasionally showed up in our backyard and she would call ‘quick look outside’ and s fox or a family of foxes or an eagle or deer would be playing or hanging out She and Robert taught us how to care for our yard, when to put on fertilizer or weed killer AND she made the BEST Pecan pies.. Her presence is already missed and I trust she is happy with Robert and all her family and friends on the other side of the amazing life.. Peace to Pat, Catherine and her other family members who were so good to her in these last years of her life.. Your goood work was noticed and appreciated, Freda loved you very much.. Kathy Plourde
