Melissa loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed family trips to the beach and spending time with her grandchildren. Anyone who knew her knew her favorite title was mom and Nana Lissa.

As we look upon her picture,
Sweet memories we recall,
Of a face so full of sunshine,
And a smile for one and all.

Sweet Jesus, take this message,
To our dear mother up above;
Tell her how we miss her,
And give her all our love.

    So incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of sweet Melissa. I’ve known her since elementary school where her penchant for being quiet and hard working first become apparent to me! Over the years we remained good friends, but I rarely saw her as I moved out of the area. We kept in touch over the internet and I knew that she was an incredibly proud and doting mother and grandmother. Prayers and comfort are lifted for the family during this time. Rest In Peace my friend.

    Thinking of you all, and wishing I could have come back for a visit. Where does the time go? I will remember all the good times we had at each other’s houses, and on holidays. Prayers and love to you all. Till we meet again, Lissa.
