Rachel was a member of the “Sisters in Christ” Connect Group at First Baptist for several years. She was an active participant and we enjoyed her presence and contributions to the class and its activities. Our sincere condolences to all her family. Personally, I remember her desire to attend church as long as she possibly could and the kindness of a family member who so lovingly escorted her to protect her safety. It was a pleasure to have known her for those few short years.

      Hello Dolores,
I had the privilege of escorting Rachel through those years. As her son in law, I can say without any reservation that she was a friend to me as well as mother in law. She and I both enjoyed those times together and I loved her very much.

Tommy Dale loved his Aunt Rachel, and she welcomed me into the family and treated me just like a daughter. Her house was always open whenever we passed through. She was funny, sweet, but would set you right if she thought you needed it. She loved her family and would be there in a minute if you needed her. Rest well sweet auntie.

I was Worthy Matron of #27 when Sister Rachel was Worthy Grand Matron in 1976. Such a friendly, caring and common lady. Even though we get nervous when the WGM visits, I always felt very comfortable with her. I pray God’s blessings upon her family during this trying time.
