Growing up, Bobby’s sister Trish and I were best friends so I knew Bobby well. He was the cute little brother that tagged along with us. I can still remember him jumping on the back of her bike as we rode out of the driveway! Im so sad to hear of his sudden death. My deepest sympathy to his family. Very sincerely, Kit Everett Vacek.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Leslie, Erica and Josh and the entire Hudson family that we love dearly. First met Bobby when he was a smart, handsome, intelligent and funny 10 year old. He managed to keep ALL of those qualities over the years and also became a loving husband and father, a highly valued employee and a trusted friend to many. Bobby was one of the good guys and we will miss him.

I am so saddened to hear of Bobby’s passing. Growing up in Kingsport, I have many fond recollections of playing golf with Bobby at Ridgefields Country Club, his wonderful kindness to all and sense of humor, and all the fun times with his Sisters and Brothers. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the Hudson Family, and my deepest sympathies to Leslie and his Children.

I first met Bobby as a freshman at Tenn. Tech University on scholarship to play golf. Spending the next four years watching him grow as man, golfer, champion, and meeting Leslie is a part of my life I will never forget. They both have impacted my life in such a positive way. The time with us (golf program), his best friends Tom Pack and Jim Cornelius will never be forgettable. The wins, the friendships, the respect he earned as part of a university and athletic program will remain. It is with great sadness to here of Bobby’s passing Friday. But the Lord immediately opened His Arms and said “Job well done my good and faithful servant. Enter in”. Love you Bobby and Leslie.

I first met Bobby as a freshman at Tenn Tech University as a scholarship golfer. It was very quick to know the heart and the kind of man he was and would become. Then he met Leslie. He fell head over heels in love and stayed that way. He was a champion, true friend, and generous, giving man who loved his family more anything.

I was deeply saddened to receive the news of Bobby’s passing Friday. But I know that the Lord met him and said “well done my good and faithful servant. Enter in.” He will be truly missed. Love you Bobby and Leslie.

My church sent a clipping that I received yesterday of the sad and shocking news of Bobby’s passing. Having grown up next door to the Hudsons during those early childhood years, I remember when he arrived and what joy and delight he brought to their brood. While I hadn’t seen him in years, or didn’t know him as well as some of the others, I know that he must have carried on the sense of warmth and family that I always felt at the house on Lynnwood. My heart is hurting and my deepest sympathies go out to his wife and children, and to Joy, Linda, Jimmy, Ricky & Tricia, whom I will always consider a part of my family.
    Love you guys.
