Twanda Lynne Woodard age 74, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018. She is the daughter of the late Robert H. and Pearl Morris Brown. Survived by her husband and best friend of 53 years, Percy, daughter Wendy (Michael) Convery, son Jason; granddaughter, Caroline Convery; sister, Judy Brown Beasley; nephews, Dan Beasley, Jr., Brent (Lari) Beasley; great nieces, Austen Beasley, Alex Beasley and Kelsie Beasley; and great nephews, Jeb Beasley and Eli Beasley.
She graduated from Hendersonville High School and Baptist School of Nursing. Twanda’s nursing career spanned 37 years with Metro Health Department. She was a longtime member of Madison Church of Christ. Twanda was an avid shopper, a wonderful cook and collector of many things. She will be remembered most for being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
The family request memorials to Hendersonville Home Bound Meals Program 381 West Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075. Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and a Celebration of Life Friday at 11:00 am at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Twanda was a Beautiful person both as a girl and as a lady, she will certainly be missed by so many who were fortunate to know her. Prayers and thoughts are with her family. May God Bless and comfort them .

I have been so saddened by the news of Twanda’s passing. She was a beautiful lady, loyal friend, and was a true Nurse Humanitarian for those she so faithfully served. Rest in peace, Twanda.

So sorry to hear of your loss . Such a kind and loving person. She was a great co-worker, supervisor, community server and friend not for to necessary to be last. Now she is doing good things in heaven. Linda Pope RN
