Arthur Forrest Sullivan, age 75, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on October 19, 2023. Arthur was born on July 1, 1948 to the late Ira and Jean Sullivan in Selma, Alabama. He was their first child and as he would always say, "I am the first and still the best!"
He was a humble servant of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was spiritually shepherded in his faith by his loving grandmother, Bubba, who was a long standing member of the First United Methodist Church.
Arthur served his country as a Lieutenant in the Army National Guard. After his time in service, Arthur began his career as a spice salesman and he advanced to food technologist. He continued to excel and was promoted to International Marketing Manager at Griffith Laboratories Incorporated. After 20 years at Griffith, his salesmanship and charisma led him to Tennessee Pride Sausage where he became the Vice President of Research and Development. Apart from his career as a food technologist, Arthur enjoyed making wonderful meals at home, and especially liked to grill for his family and entertain his friends.
As most everyone knew, Arthur was an avid Auburn enthusiast and was a member of the Nashville Auburn Club. He was also a member of the Nashville Sports Council, Southwest Meat Packers Association, The American Meat Institute, and The International Food Technologist Association.
Arthur enjoyed fishing and hunting as well. More than anything, Arthur loved his girls and grandchildren.
