Barbara Jean Clough born on November 22, 1931 in Decatur, Illinois passed away on September 17, 2025. Born to Edna and Clarence Hicks she was child number ten out of 12 children.
Barbara graduated from Decatur High School and was the first child to receive a high school diploma.
After raising her family, Barbara went back to school at Lee University where she became a Paralegal and worked for a prosecuting attorney.
Her hobbies included painting, reading, and sewing.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Urbanczyk and Penny (Claude Seeman) Clough. Grandchildren include Christian Carpenter, Nick Alexander, Noah Seeman, and Eli Seeman, as well as her great-grandchildren Kaylee Carpenter, Lacey Carpenter, and Julian Alexander.
She is remembered alongside her family members that preceded her in death, including her husband Ronald Clough, son Mark Alexander, and seven brothers and four sisters.
Services will be rendered by Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home, and Cremation Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee, September 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
