On Friday, April 22, 2022, Baxter R. Stroud, loving husband and father of two sons unexpectedly went to be with his Lord and Savior.
Baxter was born on October 1, 1974 in Nashville, TN to Joseph Resi and Sharon Hardison Stroud.
Baxter was a 1992 graduate of Davidson Academy, in Nashville Tennessee. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University in 2000 and had acquired his Professional Engineering license PE.
While studying at Tennessee Technological University, he met his “one and only” (My Love), and they were married on January 20, 2001, a month after graduating college together. They created their home in Goodlettsville, TN, and two years later were blessed with a son, Kelly Cole Stroud. They were again blessed with a son, Andrew Joseph Stroud, in 2012. His children were his world!
Baxter was a dedicated family man and loved his family tremendously. When not at work, he could always be found spending time with his wife and sons. His family was his life, and his children were his greatest joy! Baxter had a giving heart to his family and friends, and always tried to take care of their needs before his own.
Baxter enjoyed creating and tending to his garden and was very proud of it.
Baxter’s Electrical Engineering career spanned 21 years. He worked for Springfield Electric immediately upon graduating college, and was a current employee with Schneider Electric, where he had worked for 15 years.
