Betty Davis, age 74, of Hendersonville passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 22, 1943 in Charleston, SC to the late Jesse and Ethel Story Driver.

Betty was a member of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville for 42 years. She actively served with the Mission group with her church. Betty was also a proud 1962 graduate of East High School and loved attending class reunions.

She is survived by her loving husband, Melvin Davis; son, Jesse Lee Davis and grandson, Dylan Davis.

Family and friends will gather at Hendersonville Funeral Home Thursday, December 29, 2017 from 10 A.M. until 12 noon. A celebration of life funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the chapel. Interment will be at Hendersonville Memorial Gardens. www.hendersonvillefh.com
