Betty Jean Smith (Cox) age 93 of Hendersonville Tennessee passed away on Wednesday February 19th, 2020. Funeral services for Betty will be held in the Mausoleum of Hendersonville Memory Gardens with Brother Jeff Lake officiating. Pallbearers will be: John Harper, Ryan King, Bobby Lugten, Mark Gentry, Blake Long, Randy Layne, Kenny Burke. Interment will follow in the Garden of Devotion. The family will receive visitors at the mausoleum from 12:00PM until service time at 2:00PM.
Betty was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Hendersonville. She was a very talented at quilting and handmade a numerous amount of quilts.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Jack Smith as well as her parents Lee Roy & Nina Cox.
She is survived by her Daughter Jacqueline "Jackie" Smith, daughter Lynette & (Lynn) Tillman. Grandchildren: Nina & (Ryan) King and John Harper. Great-Grandchildren: Myles King, Natalie King & Kaitlyn King.

Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
