Betty Vicany Smith 85 went to her Heavenly, Eternal Home to meet her Lord and Savior on April 27th, 2021. She was born to Jack and Marcelle Vicany on December 10, 1935 in Richland Center, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Richard "Dick" Smith. She is survived by her Stepchildren: Mark Smith (Jan), Wisconsin Dells, WI. Ellen Chudy, Sun Prairie, WI. John Smith (Susan), Birmingham, AL. Grandchildren: Rick Smith (Suzy) Bloomington, IN. Emily Mezzalira (Matt), Madison, WI. Tristan Cole and Julia Cole, Sun Prairie, WI. Great Grandchildren: Matty Mezzalira, Hank and Sloane Smith. Betty grew up in Muscoda, WI. She moved to Madison, WI to study Radiography at St. Mary's School of Nursing and worked as an Xray Technician. She also worked for Merill Lynch while residing in Omaha, Nebraska. She married Richard Smith in 1971 and, moved to Hendersonville, TN where she resided for 49 years. Betty attended University of Tennessee, Nashville, and Vol. State. She received a Bachelor's degree in education. Betty loved ministering and would minister to anyone who would listen. She was a fervent Prayer Warrior! Much of her career was spent working for New Day Christian Distributors, working as a Sales Rep, Radio Promoter and in Customer Outreach. We would like to thank her Caregivers that were dedicated and cared for her at her home for a year. Dea Jae Moon, Wilhemina Howard and Carolyn Moore.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 5th at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation at 1:00 p.m. and Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a Ministry of Choice to advance the gospel.
