Billy Edward Mauldin Jr., age 62, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. He was born on July 25, 1963, to the late Billy Mauldin Sr. and Peggy King in Dallas, Texas. He worked as an autobody technician for many years at Caliber Collision. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville.
Billy loved spending time with his family more than anything. He shared some of his favorite memories traveling and exploring new places with his wife, Jana. Billy also found the simple joys in life, like singing along to his favorite song, enjoying a steak dinner or just sitting on the back porch enjoying a nice cold Dr Pepper. If he wasn't cheering on the Titans or the Nashville Predators, you'd probably find him working in the yard or relaxing with his favorite television shows like American Pickers and Counting Cars. Those shared moments whether on the road, at the beach, or just being at home are the ones they’ll hold on to forever.
Along with his mother and father, Billy is preceded in death by his stepfather, Donald King.
Billy is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Jana Mauldin; children, Matt Mauldin (Dian), Marcus Mauldin (Leslie), Jenny Durmic (Zlatan), and Mallory White (Jeremy); sister, Judy Glueck (Kenny); grandchildren, Abbie Mauldin, Collin Breedlove, Kaylee Mauldin, Mya Durmic, Ava Durmic, and Henry Durmic; niece Katie Young; and a soon to be expected first great-granddaughter in just a few weeks, Ariel Lin.
A visitation will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 1:00pm until the hour of service. The memorial service will begin at 3:00pm in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Lung Association.
