Bobbie A. Sullins

Bobbie Ann Sullins, age 89 of Gallatin Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, June 12, 2024. She was born on September 1, 1934, in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. In her younger years, Bobbie enjoyed roller skating at the Hippodrome in Nashville and she also loved to ice skate on the lake in Centennial Park whenever it would freeze. Upon her graduation from Cumberland High School, Bobbie enrolled in a nursing program through Vanderbilt Hospital and afterwards worked for 2 private practice doctors. Bobbie loved her family, loved to travel, camp and ride bicycles with her husband, enjoyed going to watch her grandchildren as well as her great nieces and great nephews play sports and was a member of the Eastern Star. 

Bobbie is proceeded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Carol Harding Sullins, mother Willie Mable Everett, Father Vernon Alton Sullivan, stepfather Francis Everett, brother Bill Sullivan, sisters Sarah Helen Tucker Davenport and Bonnie Sue Whitehead, step son William David Sullins and great granddaughter Honor Ann Cage.

Bobbie is survived by her daughters Terri Lynn Cage (Tim) and Carolyn Angelo, stepson Charles Richard Sullins, grandchildren Ashley Collins (David), Katie Cage Thompson (Neil), Baron Cage (Taylor) and Emily Cage, great grandchildren Braden and Kaylen Thompson, DJ, Beau and Archie Collins, Banner and Fields Cage, sisters Betty Lou Warren (Richard) and Willie Ruth Smith.

Pallbearers: Dave Collins, Danny DeMarcus, Richard Green, Mark Sanders, Jeff Vining and Phil Whitehead

Honorary Pallbearers: Reggie Tucker, Richard Warren and Dean Whitehead

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 10am to 12pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
