Mrs. Brenda Faye Collins age 73 of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021.

Mrs. Brenda was born in Madison, TN, on March 30, 1947, the daughter of the late Russell Coleman, Sr. and Evelyn Louise Merritt Coleman. She was a member of the Hendersonville #477 and Rose Croix #95 Order of the Eastern Star for over twenty-six years. Mrs. Brenda owned and operated Collins Family Daycare for many years and later was employed with RHA Health Services. She was a foster Mom for fifteen years. Mrs. Brenda was a member of the Holiday Heights Church for over twenty-five years. She will be remembered most for always putting others first and her great personality. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin H. Collins "Sonny" and a brother, Russell Coleman, Jr.

Survivors include her four children, Pam Farleigh (Fred), Paula Hasting (Dave), Michelle Thomas (Kevin Moss), and Mike Collins (Sara); sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; a sister, Sherry Norris; and two nephews, John John Weese and Charles Weese (Krista).

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 29, 2021, at 1:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. and Friday noon until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home. There will be an Eastern Star Service at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive Tampa, FL 33607.
