Brenda Joyce Wade

Brenda Joyce Wade was born on February 12, 1949 to the late Jessie and Christine Matthews in Franklin. She passed away on July 11, 2025, after an extended illness at Creekside Nursing Home in Nashville, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her brothers, Richard and Earlene Matthews of Nashville, Tennessee, Larry and Marline Matthews of Ashland City, Tennessee, Charles Wayne Matthews of Franklin, Tennessee, and Rickie Matthews of Franklin, Tennessee.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, James Wade; her son, Tandy Tomlin; her grandson, Jessie Tomlin; her three sisters, Darlene and Donald Campbell of Thompson Station, Tennessee, Patricia and Carl Robinson of Morrison, Tennessee, and Betty and Samuel Haithouch of Brentwood, Tennessee; and her nephew, Lee and Dawn Campbell and Family of Spring Hill, Tennessee.

Brenda's service will be held on July 15, 2025. Friends and loved ones are invited to a visitation at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Brenda will then be laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, TN, with the burial scheduled for 3:00 PM.

Her warmth and kindness will be missed by all who knew her.
