Mary Brooke Gillum Kent

Mary Brooke Gillum Kent, age 50, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Mary Brooke was born on November 8, 1975.

Preceded in death by her grandparents Horace and Gertha Gillum, William and Margaret Oldham, and her aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brooke is survived by her father Michael W. Gillum, mother Patricia (Herbert) Conley, her children Hadley Grace Gregory Conley, Matthew Conner Gregory Conley, and Michael Bryson Kent. In addition, she is survived by her sisters Brandi (Andrew) Mackey, and Katheryn “Katesy” (Brian) Spencer, stepbrother Eric (Jamie) Hall, and a multitude of cousins and high school friends.

Brooke attended McGavock High School and after graduating attended Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, Tennessee and Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. After college, Brooke chose the Administrative Medical Field with a career lasting 25 plus years.

Brooke faced her illness with bravery; she knew what her relationship with the Lord was and was at peace.

Brooke was loved by so many and will be missed.

Services will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 1pm. Visitation will begin at 10am until service time. Burial will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Joe Roney, Tom Murphy, Kent Gillum, Michael Keely, Billy Jackson, and Rick Autery.
