Mrs. Carol Smith Binkley age 81, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020.

Mrs. Binkley was born in Nashville, TN, on July 31, 1939, the daughter of the late Jesse Bradford Smith and Della Mae Miles Smith. She was a member of Indian Lake Peninsula Church. Mrs. Binkley enjoyed animals, reading, cross word puzzles, and shopping. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Binkley was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Smith.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-nine years, Bethel Binkley, to whom she was married on January 28, 1961; two daughters, Bonnie Inston and Christie Cole; four grandchildren, Brandy Brown (Tim), Garrett Cole, Ashley Cole, and Danielle White; a great-granddaughter, Karma Wymer; and a brother, Michael Smith (Carole).

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at 1;00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Monday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Humane Society of Sumner County 16 Volunteer Drive Hendersonville, TN 37075.

The following gentlemen will serve as active pallbearers: Mike Smith, Garrett Cole, Emery Binkley, Ricky Binkley, Kyle Binkley, and Alex Girgies.
