Carol H. Sullins, 95, of Gallatin, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020. Preceded in death by his parents; Allie David Sullins and Mary Inez Harding and son, William David Sullins. Carol is survived by his wife, Bobbie Ann Sullins, of 47 years, children; Charles Richard Sullins of Manchester, TN, Carolyn Angelo of Madison, TN and Terri Cage (Tim) of Gallatin, TN, sister, Mary Lou Hutcherson, niece, Betty Lou Standerfer (Paul) of Smyrna, TN, grandchildren; Katie Cage Thompson (Neil), Baron Cage (Taylor), Emily Cage and Ashley Angelo Collins (Dave), great-grandchildren; Braden Thompson, Kaylen Thompson, D.J. Collins and Beau Collins.

Carol was born on February 2, 1925 in Nashville to the late Allie David and Mary Inez Sullins. Carol served in the Army/Air Corps and flew P51 Mustang fighter aircraft during WWII. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor's Degree and worked as a Mechanical Engineer in Aero Structuring. Carol enjoyed riding his bicycle, playing harmonica, traveling with Bobbie in their RV and camping. He was a longtime member of Nashville First Seventh Day Adventist Church.

A Celebration of Life service for Carol will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street in Hendersonville, on Thursday, June 25th at 2:00 PM. Pastors Paul Koulakov and Timothy Baron Cage will be presiding. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 PM. Carol will be laid to rest following the service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Garden of Devotion, with Military Honors.

Dave Collins, Richard Green, Mark Sanders, Reginald Tucker, Jeff Vining and Phil Whitehead will serve as Pallbearers. Richard Warren, Alex Smith and Dean Whitehead will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
