Carole Rhoten

Carole Holmes Ferbrache Rhoten age 80, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at her home with her family by her side.  Carole was born on February 2, 1942, in Kingsport, Tennessee to Carl Ashton and Hazel (Barker) Ferbrache.

Carole was a free spirit who loved adventure, pursuing new interests, and her fur babies.  She was a passionate, headstrong, and loving woman.  Her family will deeply miss her.

Carole is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Hazel Ferbrache, children LeeAnn Herlong and Todd McMillan, Sr., as well as her sister Marlene Clark.  She is survived by her son Miles Whitfield Herlong; grandchildren Joshua Thor (Laurin) Herlong, Laura Leeann Herlong, Kristin Elizabeth Herlong, Kassie Lee Ann (Nathan) Chandler, Todd McMillan Herlong, Jr., Shelby Lynn (Carlos) Silva, Ashley Kim Ferrell, Nicholas Miles Herlong, and Logan Lee Herlong.  In addition, she is survived by her great-grandchildren Jaylin, Jackson, Zachary, Zander, Luke, Avery, Kellin, Jacob, Kyle, Karley, AnnaMarie, and Gabriel.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 10am-12pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will begin in the Chapel at 12pm with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
