Cary Duane Cox Sr., 45, of Hendersonville, passed away on Thursday, June 4th, 2020. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; William Albert and Dortha Almena Cox and maternal grandparents; Willard Scott and Donna Maureen Roberts. Survived by his parents; Jack and Janice Cox, children; Cary Cox Jr., Kayla (Seth) Horner, Breanna (Raul) Landaverde, Justice Guevara, Kimmy Cox, Emmelee Cox, Cara Cox, Calum Cox and their mother, Wanda Anderson, grandchildren; Lily Horner, Everly Hartsell and Delilah Landaverde, siblings; Steven (Tammy) Cox, Christopher (Sylvia) Cox, Melissa (Nathaniel) Embry, Matthew (Kendi) Cox and Nathan (Rachel) Cox. Cary is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Cary was born in Lakewood, California on December 1st, 1974, to Jack and Janice Cox. He later moved to Hendersonville, Tennessee in 1993. Cary worked with his family's business, Roberts Brothers Coach Company, building entertainer coaches for 23 years, from 1997-2020. He enjoyed working on his truck and watching Live P.D., along with other cop shows.

Cary was a devoted father, grandfather, loving son and brother. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who knew him.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home and Memory Gardens, 353 East Main Street, on Sunday, June 14th from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Three Oaks Church, 502 Douglas Bend Road in Gallatin, on Monday, June 15th at 1:00 PM, Pastor Clay Baggett presiding. Burial will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
