Mr. Charles A. Rountree, Jr. age 92, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020.

Mr. Rountree was born in Nashville, TN, on April 4, 1927, the son of the late Charles A. Rountree and Ruth Reid Rountree. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Mr. Rountree was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville. He retired from banking as a Senior Vice President of Bank of America. Mr. Rountree loved his wife and enjoyed playing golf and traveling. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rountree was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Brown Rountree and a sister, Sara Rountree Bolton.

Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Keller (Ralph); two sons, Charles Rountree, III (Pamela) and Doug Rountree (Lucinda); grandchildren, Michael Keller (Mystie), Justin Keller, Collin Rountree (Amanda), Erica Oliver (Doug), and Douglas Rountree; ten great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert F. Rountree.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, February 24, 2020, at 2:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Hagood officiating.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Monday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
