Chelsey King

Chelsey Marie King, age 35 of, Hendersonville, TN passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022 in Nashville, TN.

Preceded in death by, grandfathers Jerry Bess and Robert King. She is survived by her daughter Katrina Rashaey Burrow; mother Penny Bess Hargett; father Joseph Scott King; step-father Kenneth William Hargett; sister Shelley King Edel (Brandon Edel); brother Justin Hargett; grandmothers Barbara Bess and Ruby King; boyfriend Christopher D. Hernandez, as well as uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

A service to celebrate Chelsey’s life will start at 3PM on the afternoon of Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2PM-3PM.

In lieu of floral tributes, the family has requested that you donate to the charity of your choice in honor of Chelsey.

The family would like to share some memories and thoughts about Chelsey. Mom (Penny) and step-father (Ken) shared these memories. Chelsey was our first-born child. She was a woman that had a beautiful personality. She was very funny, loved to laugh, be goofy, and talk in funny voices. “You will be missed so very much. May God bless you with his grace. Your life was not always easy, but everyone loved the moments when you shined.”

Daughter (Katrina) shared; My mother was my best friend. She taught me how to be strong, independent, and funny. We loved each other till the end. We shared great memories together over music, food, and had many laughs. I loved her through everything.

Boyfriend (Christopher) shared; Chelsey Marie King was headstrong, strong-willed, and independent. She was very real and was happy with life. She was openly honest and was caring about others. I was mighty glad and very lucky to call her my girlfriend.
