Connie Marie Foley Strange passed away on July 9, 2026, leaving a legacy of warmth, kindness, and vibrancy cherished by all who knew her. Born on November 12, 1964, Connie’s journey was marked by a zest for life and a passion for bringing joy to those around her.

Connie was the beloved wife of Chad Strange and the devoted mother of Daniel Shane Foley and Kiston Marie Foley. She was also a stepmother to Kenzie Strange and Sydney Strange; and Chad’s granddaughter, Lily. Connie treasured her family deeply, savoring every moment spent together and upholding close bonds that stood as a testament to her loving nature.

She was the cherished daughter of her mother Avice Cummings Casseri Depew and her father, Richard Casseri, and a dear sister to Keith Casseri(Amy), and stepsister to Timothy Bannon, and Kathleen Bannon. Her other family members included her adored grandchildren, Gabriel and Liam, along with her aunts Laura Hibbard and Judy Cummings, as well as nieces Anna Casseri and nephew, Adam Casseri; and numerous cousins.

Connie was predeceased by her uncle Jim Cummings, and her grandparents.

Much of Connie’s professional life was dedicated to helping others fulfill their dreams of exploration, working as a travel agent in Buffalo, New York, and later in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Her enthusiasm for adventure and discovering new places was infectious, and she took tremendous pride in guiding her clients as they embarked on journeys of their own. Connie was also skilled in real estate; and working at Storage Systems where she sold medical equipment to help others in their health journey—fields where her energy and integrity were always evident.

Connie’s academic pursuits reflected her drive and passion. She studied at Genesee Community College in Batavia, New York, where she earned her degree in travel

Those closest to Connie remember her as lively, energetic, and beautiful both inside and out. Artistic in spirit, she brought creativity and grace to every aspect of her life. Her home was frequently filled with the enticing aromas of her culinary creations, as cooking and growing herbs were among her greatest joys. She delighted in watching cooking shows, always eager to try new recipes for friends and loved ones.

Above all, Connie’s proudest accomplishments came in the simple moments—reunions with high school friends from Akron, New York, sharing laughter, stories, and the enduring bonds of friendship forged in youth. These gatherings were treasured occasions, and Connie’s presence brought light and happiness to each one.

A visitation in remembrance of Connie’s life will be held on August 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Treemont Mansion, located at 4125 Saundersville Rd, Old Hickory, TN 37138. Family and friends are invited to gather in her honor and celebrate the impact of her remarkable life.
