Cynthia Norton

Cynthia “Cindy” Norton, age 71, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on May 4, 2026. She was born on June 16, 1954, in Albany, Georgia, to the late Charles and Mary Fisher.

Cindy loved her family deeply and found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She was a graduate of Dougherty High School and attended Putney Methodist Church, where her faith and friendships meant a great deal to her.

She enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether fishing, caring for her flowers and plants, or watching and feeding the birds and deer around her home. She also loved her dogs, who brought her comfort and happiness.

More than anything, Cindy will be remembered for her kind and caring heart. She was always there for her family and friends, offering love and support whenever it was needed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ann Griffin, Ramona Wells, and Jake Fisher.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Randy Norton; her children, Jason Norton (Dee) and Lee Norton; her sister, Carol Marsh; and her grandchildren, Hannah Norton and Cameron Norton.

Cindy will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
