David Mack Morgan

David Mack Morgan, age 69, passed away on February 13, 2024.  He was born on May 10, 1954 in Belton, Texas.  David is preceded in death by his loving parents, James Mack Morgan and Eula Carver Morgan and brother James Michael Morgan. He is survived by his brother Stephen Dale Morgan.

David graduated from Hendersonville High School in 1972.  He worked as a Customer Engineer at IBM Corporation for more than 25 years.   David was a bus driver (bus 700) for Sumner County Schools for 13 years.  He won the appreciation and affection of students, parents, and co-workers.  David was a brother to all the drivers.  The parents knew he loved and protected their children.

David was an active leader at the Hendersonville Chapel, working as a leader in the youth ministry, singles ministry, and serving as an elder.  He was known for his love of nature, whether he was at the beach, mountains, or at his home in the woods.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with Funeral Service immediately following at Hendersonville Funeral Home.  A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
