Dianne Carey

Dianne Carey, born on February 21, 1945, passed away on June 15, 2025. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Dianne was happily married to her husband for 61 wonderful years, and together they raised two daughters. She embraced her role as a mother to her daughters and her sons-in-law and as a beloved nana to her five grandchildren and her five great grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.

Dianne was known for her sunny personality and was a woman of many interests and passions. Dianne enjoyed crafts, reading, and spending time with her family. She took great joy in yardwork, but treasured her leisure time with her family as well. She had a special fondness for going to Florida, where she looked forward to spending the winter months and made many friends. Her eagerness to be with family was well-known; all she needed were coffee and earrings, and she was ready to go.

Dianne stood out for her warmth and generosity. She never spoke an unkind word about anyone and always remembered special occasions, sending thoughtful cards to loved ones.

Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, Rueben and Virginia Killgore; her brother, Dale Killgore; her son-in-law, Andy Armstrong; her brother-in-law, Gerald "Ken" Carey; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Tubb and Delores Killgore.

Dianne is survived by her loving husband, Dave Carey; her children, Darla Crisler (Michael Crisler) and Deanna Armstrong; her grandchildren, David Crisler (Lacie Crisler), Lauren Bardill (Alex Bardill), Hannah Crisler, Victoria Crisler, and Carter Armstrong; her great grandchildren, Kylie Keen, Khloe Keen, Sophia Ashley, Bexlea Stanfill, and Benjamin Crisler; her brother, Tom Killgore; brother in-law, Otto Carey (Sharon Carey); and sister in-law, Kathy Carey.

Dianne will be remembered by her family and friends for her warmth, love, and the many special moments shared together.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 12:00 noon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Operation Christmas Child.
