Mrs. Dorothy Felts, 89, went to be with her Lord on Friday, July, 14 2017. She was born to the late Woodruff and Nora DuMont in Nashville, TN on March 31, 1928. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Aaser (Donald); son, Eddie Felts (Tina); granddaughter, Deborah Kinzer (Dan); grandson, Thomas Felts; great granddaughter, Kayla Kinzer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin Felts.

Dorothy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who would do anything for her family. She enjoyed cooking amazing meals and tending to her garden. Mrs. Felts took delight in refinishing furniture and decorating her home. She was a firm believer in Christ and grounded in her faith.

Life Celebration Services will be held in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017. Visitation will be at Hendersonville Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Pastor Keith Parker will be officiating the Life Celebration.

In Lieu of Flowers the family requests donations to be sent the Pete Parker Scholarship Fund at Freed Hardeman University.
