Elder Derossett
June 14, 1930 — February 18, 2016
Elder Dallas DeRossett, 85, passed away February 18, 2016. Born in Grandview, TN he was the son of the late Jess and Lenice DeRossett.
Dallas was a Cpl. in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Hendersonville Missionary Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Anna DeRossett and twin daughters, Bonnie and Connie DeRossett.
He is survived by daughters, Darlene Travis, Anita (Don) Kirby, Ramona DeRossett; sons, Dale (Diana) DeRossett, Lawton (Susan) DeRossett; 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday Feb. 21, from 4-8pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 E Main St. Hendersonville, TN 37075. Another visitation will be held at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, TN on Monday Feb 22, from 1-2pm EST with a Funeral Service at 2pm EST. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Grandview, TN.
