Mrs. Elizabeth Ann "MiMi" Martz age 61, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020.

Mrs. Martz was born in Bakersfield, CA, on January 18, 1959, the daughter of the late Robert "Bob" Leroy Brown and Imogene Brewer Brown. Elizabeth loved reading, collecting angels, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was an incredible cook and is remembered by loved ones for spending time in the kitchen making wonderful memories and delicious meals. She was most proud of being a stay at home MiMi, as she most often referred to herself as. She left a lasting impression on every life she touched. She will be remembered for being full of laughter and making friends anywhere she went. She was a true hero and fighter who inspired many who knew and loved her. Mrs. Martz, most of all, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who always put everyone's needs in front of her own. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martz was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Brewer and a sister, Mildred Ferguson.

Survivors include her husband, Dwight "Marty" Martz, to whom she was married on September 16, 1988; three children, Lori (Ken) Skonicki, Samuel "Sam" (Susan) Martz, and Lydia (Justin) Jacobs; five grandchildren, Colton Dunn, Carson Dunn, Bristol Skonicki, Bryson Jacobs, Jaxon Jacobs; siblings, Carl Brown, Glenda (Dennis) Moon, Tina (Kevin) Griffin; mother, Barbara Brown; three step-children, Mark (Tammy) Graybill, Shellie Foxx, and Missy (Torrey) Thorsell; step-grandchildren, Chelsey Willis, Keila Holmes, Victoria Thorsell, Everleigh Thorsell, and Isabella Thorsell; numerous nieces and nephews; and her three dogs, Patches, Bogart, and Sissy.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020, at 2:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home with Laverne Tripp officiating.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
