Ellen Ross

Mrs. Ellen Ross, 57, of Gallatin, TN passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017. She was born to James and Erma Smith on September 27, 1959 in Chicago, IL. Survived by her husband, David Ross; children, Lauren (BJ), James Sr., and Taylor, Brian; siblings, Brenda, Jim (Amber), Mike (Lori), Lori (Chris); grandchildren, Riley, Camryn, and James Jr. along with a host of loving family members. Ellen was preceded in death by, grandparents, Roy and Luella Smith, Helen and Earl Smith; niece, Lori; brother in law, Ricky Barnes.

At a younger age, she enjoyed dancing and competitive baton twirling where she was a mentor to many girls that she taught. Ellen had an unconditional love for her family and that was her life as she got older. She adored her 3 grandchildren with all of her heart. She will be greatly missed by all who were graced by her presence.

A private Life Celebration gathering will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home at a later date.
