Elsie Mays

Elsie Pearce Mays, 98, passed away in Panama City, FL on Monday, April 19, 2021. She was a resident of Panama City Beach, FL since 2016.
Elsie Larue Pearce was born in Carthage, TX to Steve and Minnie Pearce on April 15,1923. She married Eddie Patillo Mays on February 26, 1955 and settled in Shreveport, LA.
Mrs. Mays is preceded in death by her husband Edd, her parents, and her brothers, Steve Pearce, Jr., Marcellus Pearce, and Truman Pearce. She is survived by her daughter, Olivia Garvin and husband, Michael, of Shreveport, LA, her son, Eddie Mays and wife, Lisa, of Round Rock, TX, and her daughter, Teresa Mays of Winchester, VA; grandchildren: Maggie Garvin and husband, Steve Sherwin, Peter Garvin, Layla Mays, and Connor Bowlin; niece, Ann Pearce, nephews Marcellus Pearce, Joel Pearce, Allen Pearce, and Keven Pearce.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Hendersonville Memory Gardens in Hendersonville, TN.
