Eugenia "Jeanie" Kearns Wynne - Six days short of her 76th birthday and due to a sudden brain hemorrhage, passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Edward Kearns and Eugenia Quinn Kearns and brothers Clarence Quinn Kearns and Patrick William Kearns, all of Owosso, Michigan.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Thomas J. Wynne III, sons, Ryan Christian Moore (Erica), Thomas Joseph Wynne IV (Dianne) and Michael Anthony Wynne; grandchildren, Caelin Marie and Kerigan Rene Moore, Sienna Sky Dennis, Kelsey Autumn Wynne and Christopher Michael Wynne; her brother, Walter Joseph Kearns of New Smyrna Beach, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeanie was born in Owosso, Michigan October 14, 1943. She graduated from St Paul Catholic High School and then received her B.A. from Western Michigan University in 1965.

Her selfless career as a public school teacher lasted 35 years. She taught in Sumner County for 30 years, primarily at Nannie Smith Berry Elementary School, retiring from Jack Anderson Elementary School, both in Hendersonville.

Since retirement in 2002 she found a love for charity. She was very active in Key to the City and was awarded Woman of the Year twice. She was also involved in Friends of the Hendersonville Library and a member of the "Happy Bookers Book Club".
Jeanie was unwavering in her Catholic faith throughout her lifetime and was committed to her faith family at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

Celebration of Jeanie's life will be Friday, October 25th at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 1729 Stop Thirty Road, Hendersonville, TN with visitation from 9:00am to 11:00am and mass at 11:00am followed by fellowship and lunch in Bevington Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Jeanie's name to Fraternus, Inc., 1824 E. Main Street, Suite M, Easley, SC 29640.
