Frances Merryman

Frances (Knight) Merryman passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024. She was born on October 9, 1946 to the late Felix and Josiephine (Josie Puckett) Knight. In addition to her husband, Johnny Merryman, of 57 years, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Felix “Bubby” Knight, James “Jimmy” Knight, Bobby Knight, Juanita “Sissy” Woods, Joyce Cole, Mable Whitaker, and Betty Hagewood. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Huffines, brother Alfred Knight, and a host of nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sons, Scotty (Jodi) Merryman and Darrell (Sandee) Merryman, grandson, Hunter, and granddaughters, Katie and Ashlee Merryman.

Frances was a beautician at Flannery’s and also worked at Walton Ferry Elementary School. For many years, Frances loved spending time with Johnny at Dale Hallow Lake in the spring and fall and for three months in Florida. What she loved most was being with her friends and family.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, November 18 at Hendersonville Memorial Gardens, 353 East Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075. The funeral will follow at 2:00 pm.
