Frank Clark

Frank Herold Clark, age 80, of Hendersonville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday June 3, 2022. He is dancing in heaven with his wife of 56 years, Darlene.

Visitation will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm with a Masonic Service immediately following.

Frank was born in Mesa, Arizona to Albert Clark and Rosa Mae Smith Clark. After Frank joined the Marines, his father remarried. Myrtle Edwards Clark was a beautiful soul and was loved and cherished by all.

Frank was married to the love of his life Darlene for over 56 years before her untimely passing last September. They danced for 30 plus years with various groups and traveled the world.

Frank was a Vietnam Veteran where he served in the Marines and received an award as a rifle sharpshooter. He worked for McCarthy Jones and Woodard until he retired at age 67.

Frank initiated membership in Masonry and became a Master Mason in 2005. He served in several positions over the years and was the Worshipful Master of Hendersonville Lodge in 2012.

He was a member of the Al Menah Shrine Center and the Legion of Honor where he served as its Commander in 2011. Frank's heart was with the Al Menah Shriners Children’s Hospital where he served as the team driver for many years.

He was an active member of York Rite Masonry including Cumberland Chapter #1, Royal Arch Masons and Nashville Council and Commandry #1. Frank and Darlene were also members of the Eastern Star, Chapter #477 in Hendersonville.

Frank is preceded in death by his wife Darlene, parents Albert and Rosa Clark, stepmother Myrtle Clark, sisters Mary Mae, Norma, Joann and Margaret, stepsons Danny and Dennis Stuart.

Frank is survived by his daughters, Tammi Wyatt-King (Richard) of Hendersonville, Kim Ralph of White House, Marie Nicholson (Scott) of Corvalis, Montana, Sisters Louise Tague (Butch) of IN, Eva Fortney of CA, Brenda Flum of CA. Sister-in-law Wanda Boyd of Hendersonville and daughter in love Adrienne Stuart of Hemet, CA

14 Grandchildren: Brandi Wyatt Enstrom (Evan)of Nolensville, Tommy Wyatt of Colorado Springs, Zach Wyatt of Nashville, Danielle Ralph Burger (Scott) of Portland, Hanna Ralph Gentry of White House, Sara Stuart of Sandy, Utah., Jason Stuart (Kellie)of Canyon Lake, CA.,  Rob Nicholson (Megan) of Woodenville, WA , Ceara Nicholson of Greenville, SC, Dawn Stuart Bickerstaff of Readyville, Shane Stuart (Elizabeth)of Shelbyville, Jessica Stuart Jenson of Mesquite, NV., Crista Stuart Streley of St. George, UT., Josh Tankersly of Hawaii. 20 Great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren

In lieu of floral tributes the family has requested that donations be made to The Shriners Children Hospital in memory of Frank. Donations should be made to Al Menah Shriners P.O Box 78545 Nashville, TN. 37207
