Fred Edward Shores age 91 of Hendersonville TN, passed away on Thursday, August 8th 2019.

Fred was born in Smith County TN on December 29th, 1927 to Lum & Beulah Shores. When he became older he joined the army and served his country faithfully. He was deployed in Japan and received his World War II Victory Medal & Army of Occupation (Japan) Medal. For many years, he worked at Genesco shoes as a Leather Quality Control Inspector. Outside of his work, he was an Atlanta Braves Fan and loved to watch American Baseball. He also loved a good cigar and to drive his motorcycle. His greatest love however was his love for his children, grandchildren & his wife.

Fred is preceded in death by parents Lum & Beulah Shores. His Siblings: Calvin Shores, Webb Shores, Lilly Thomas & Hazel Clemons.

He is survived by his Loving Wife of 66 years Christine Shores of Hendersonville, TN. Daughter Sheryl Lynn & (Steve) Allen of Pensacola FL, Son Jeffrey & (Angela) Shores of White House TN, Daughter Angela & (Troy) Davis of Hendersonville TN. Grandchildren: Stacy Keltner, Erica Brister, Shannon Shores, Cody Hayes, Austin Davis. Great-Grandchildren: Brando Julian, Arinna Julian, Lovely Brister, Daggert Brister, Ella Hayes, also his Sister Bobbie Jean Sutton & Brother Kenneth Shores.

Funeral Services for Fred will be held on Monday August 12th at 10:00AM in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with interment to follow in Hendersonville Memorial Gardens. The Family will accept visitors on Sunday August 11th, from 10:00AM until 8:00PM. Visitation will continue on Monday August 12th from 9:00AM until service time at 10:00AM.

Fred was a faithful husband, father, grandfather, brother & a United States Army Veteran. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
