Mr. Freddie E. Omohundro "Ike" 84, born April 30, 1936 and passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Born and raised in Davidson County, Nashville, Tennessee. Preceded in death by Wm. H. Omohundro (father) and Mary Etta Omonundro (mother).

Survived by wife, Mary Ellen Omohundro; son, Stanley E. Omohundro; brother, Malvern Omohundro; two sisters, Mary Ann Blackwood and Bonnie Moon; and many nieces and nephews of which he was very proud.

During Ike's young life he made his living as an automobile mechanic. He worked for several GM dealerships until 1977 when he opened his own repair shop. He operated Omohundro Auto Parts & Service in Hendersonville, TN for over twenty years. In 1998 he retired and bought a farm in Gallatin, TN where he raised beef cattle. Ike loved his farm life and many many memories for himself and his family.
Ike was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Hendersonville for over twenty-five years. He served as a deacon and was inactive at the time of his death. He loved his church family and made many lifetime memories and friends there.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 3:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home with Joe Martin and Lloyd Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
