Gerald Glen Gray, 81, of Chattanooga, TN, peacefully passed from this life into glory on December 03, 2022. He was born on February 21, 1941 in Atoka, OK. He was living close to his family in Nashville when he passed. He is survived by a daughter, Anne-Geri’ (“Angie”) Gray Fann, his son-in-law David H. Fann, his grandsons, Bradon and Avary Fann, his sister, Zuella Kemp and his brothers Jimmy Dwight Gray and Bourley Gray. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anne S. Gray, his parents, R.C. Gray and Edith Rutledge Gray, and his sisters Debbie Gray Dillard and Lenora Gray Thompson.
Mr. Gray was a Christian and part of the family of God; he spent his entire adulthood preaching the life of his Lord, Jesus Christ. Glen and Anne worked as missionaries in New Zealand (where they had their daughter), and ministered in Louisiana, Colorado, Texas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Tennessee. He was a wonderful Bible teacher and an artist, specializing in acrylics. Glen taught many art classes in every place he lived. It is said that art imitates life; Glen's life and art was focused on imitating God's greatest art, Jesus Christ, throughout his life and ministry. David and Angie Fann were blessed to hear his last words from a hospital bed... a powerful confession of faith as a sermon to an unseen audience about Jesus, the rock.
