Don Mundy

Howard Donald “Don” Mundy, age 86, of Hendersonville passed away on November 16, 2024. Don was born in Nashville, Tennessee on February 16, 1938 to the late Jerry and Margaret Mundy.

Don attended East Nashville High School in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Don served in the United States Air Force from 1956 until 1976. He retired from the United States Air Force as an E-6 Technical Sergeant.

In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy Mundy and H.W. “Bunny” Mundy; and his sisters, Jeraldine Beard and Barbara Dye.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Lula Mundy; his children, Michael Mundy (Nancy) and Debra Shreve (Dean); his grandchildren, Matthew Mundy (Kelsey), Christian Shreve, and Ryan Shreve; his great grandchildren, Christopher Mundy, Tristan Shreve, Emry Shreve, and Henry Off; and his sisters, Beverly Lever and Sandy Abernathy.
