Hunter Matthew Goski, age 32, passed away on July 18, 2026. Hunter was born on December 19, 1993, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Daniel and Kristi Goski.
Hunter attended Gateway Charter High School and graduated in 2012. He went on to earn his associate degree from Edison College in 2014 before attending Fort Myers Technical College, where he became a turbine mechanic and millwright in 2016. Hunter dedicated his career to working as a Turbine Journeyman Millwright. He also generously volunteered his time with Habitat for Humanity.
Hunter was a high school wrestler and enjoyed working with his hands. He had a passion for cooking, playing Pokémon Go, baseball, concerts, the beach, shopping, and cars. Most of all, he cared deeply for others and always wanted to make everyone happy. Hunter was known for his constant smile and contagious laughter.
Hunter cherished time spent with his family, especially their vacations to Hilton Head Island. His father, Daniel, treasured the memories of coaching Hunter in Little League baseball. Hunter had a special way of showing his love for those around him. Every Mother's Day, he made strawberry crepes for his mom, Kristi. He gave his grandmother, Goo, 50 white roses and even got a breast cancer awareness tattoo in her honor.
Hunter is survived by his son, Apollo; his parents, Daniel and Kristi Goski; his brothers, Breydan Goski and Kyler Goski; his grandparents, Gilda Cobb, and Jim and Lesley Tidwell; his aunts and uncles, Dewayne and Traci Tidwell, and Ken and Carol Crouch; and his cousins, Ryan and Dani Tidwell, Kacey Mouyal, Cindy Bellamy, Andy Crouch, and DD Stubblefield.
