Iris May Moore of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on July 5, 2020.

Iris was born in Muscatine, Iowa on February 16, 1938 to Ivan Ray and Ethel Hayes. She married Robert Moore and together, they had three boys. Iris aptly loved gardening. She loved fishing with and baking for her husband and her sons. Her favorite place was the beach and the family knows that is where she is now.

Iris is survived by her sons, Eric (Tina) Moore, Keith (Mary Katherine) Moore, and Chris Moore; her grandchildren, Dustin Moore, Tad Evans, and Morgan (Gabe) Ontiveros; and her great-grandchildren, Ella, Lela, and Brayden Ontiveros. She is also survived by her sister, June Ford.

Iris is preceded by her husband, her parents, and her siblings, Gloria, Audrey, and Jack.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. in the Stateroom of Hendersonville Funeral Home on Saturday, July 11. A Celebration of life will begin at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home on Saturday, July 11. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
